Why I am passionate about music?

“I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours.  But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places.  Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality. “ ~H.A. Overstreet

Passion is an extreme feeling towards something. A desire. A motivation. A fervor. An enthusiasm. A place where you can find yourself beyond limitations. In my realizations passion is something that brings me an outlook between realities and envisage of life. Moreover passion doesn’t only tackles about the things you’re good at but it is about how powerful that thing influences your life.   Actually, I never dreamed to be a singer nor a composer or maybe a guitar player but every time I hear music; my soul is awaken and there’s a driving force that boosts my system. Music in my ears is like the sound of life. Why do I say so? Well, every time I hear a song and as soon as I memorized its lyrics there’s something in me that I can’t explain; it seems that my experiences are reflected from what its notes are trying to say. I love listening to a song when it feels like its lyrics were written for me.
Music is considered as one of the most influential forms of pleasure. For me life without music is boring or let’s says music without life is not music at all. Kinda ironic right? A thought entered my mind, music is what life sounds like because we cannot refute from the fact that we're getting hit and beaten by our own experiences whenever we hear a song that is somewhat related from our own self. I'm fond of listening to different music genre and every song I've heard is another dose of lesson that I can link to a specific feeling that I had before. Every song that is saved to my gadgets has different meanings from various stories of my existence.
I’m not and will never be a good singer that’s why I’m a frustrated music aficionado. I’m not also a perfect guitar player that’s why it’s been one of the things in my wish list. If you’ll come to think of it I’m not gifted in music that’s why relating every notes, melodies and harmony from different genres of music to my life is a reward that I think music had offered me.
